Boat charter in Southern Brittany with or without skipper
THE CFC FLEET
Different rates depending on the season and type of boat
Our charter fleet, based in La Trinité-sur-Mer in Morbihan, consists of more than 40 cruising boats ranging from 6 to 16 metres, including monohull sailing yachts, catamarans and trimarans. Whether you are planning a weekend getaway or a week-long cruise, the ideal boat for your stay in Southern Brittany awaits you.
Our charter rates vary depending on the season. During the low season, you can take advantage of attractive prices, with a spacious sailing yacht for 5 people available from just €800 per week. Prices also vary according to the type of boat chartered.
With ou without skipper ?
If you have some sailing experience, you can choose to charter a boat without a skipper.
Are you a family with children? Or a group of friends with no sailing experience? No worries — we’re used to it. Many of our boats are chartered by families and groups of friends with no prior sailing experience.
In this case, choosing a sailing yacht charter with a skipper is an excellent solution.
Weekend or weekly charter
It is entirely possible to charter a boat for just a weekend. Located only 5 km from Carnac, in the heart of Quiberon Bay, La Trinité-sur-Mer is a landmark harbour for sailing and boating enthusiasts. Within minutes of departure, you can enjoy ever-changing landscapes shaped by the tides, the bay and the wild Quiberon coastline. Anchorage areas are particularly plentiful along the Brittany coast.
You can also charter a sailing yacht for a full week and cruise through the calm, peaceful waters of the Gulf of Morbihan. Looking for adventure? Then set a course for the islands offshore from La Trinité: Belle-Île, Houat and Hoëdic.
Our boats can accommodate up to 12 people. Depending on the model, you will have access to a range of equipment and options (toilet, shower room, refrigerator, Webasto heating, etc.).
Which boats can be chartered?
The monohull: a classic in Southern Brittany
The monohull is a classic along the Megalith Coast — the boat everyone draws as a child. It is a compact vessel that is relatively easy to handle, offering great sensations at the helm. Learning to sail is generally easier on a monohull than on a multihull. As this type of yacht has more contact with the water than a catamaran, manoeuvres are also easier to perform.
On the other hand, it is slightly less spacious than a catamaran. However, this can be a real advantage when looking for a berth in a harbour, making it particularly practical when sailing along the Morbihan coast.
Unlike a monohull, a catamaran has two hulls. The living area (galley and saloon) is located between them, creating a particularly spacious living space. The cabins are generally positioned at the outer ends of the two hulls, ensuring privacy and peace and quiet.
A catamaran offers an unmatched level of comfort, both under sail and in terms of life on board. Wider and heavier than a monohull, it provides increased stability, whether at anchor or while sailing.
